Maria Lvova

Maria Lvova is a Ph.D student in the department of Political Science at the University of Tromsø. She holds one of two PhD positions connected to the GAPS project. Her previous education includes a masters degree from Pomor State University (Russia) in humanities, and a masters of philosophy in peace studies from the University of Tromsø. Ms. Lvova has extensive experience working in gender issues, social policy, nationality, and social philosophy. Previous positions include guest researcher at the University of Lapland, Finland, and in the department of Philosophy at Pomor State University. She has published on the topics of national identity in modern political and social systems, trafficking of women, and the question of identity (all published in Russian).
